Oysters: A Layering of Flavor

This class is located at 339 Belgrade St at our Fishtown location.

The pros will tell you to enjoy your oysters without accoutrements, so you can experience the unadulterated experience of time and locale – and you should! But just like any food, certain ingredients can accent, balance, or even highlight different elements of an oyster's flavor.

In this class, we'll learn all about why certain ingredients work best with certain oysters, how to apply them the many different attributes you may find within the cup, and why aficionados encourage you to steer clear of cocktail sauce. We'll try a sampling of oysters with different ingredients, compare our experiences, and mix-and-match to create pairings that stand out.
