This class is located at 339 Belgrade St at our Fishtown location.

You already know the basics – where to buy, what to choose, how to shuck & serve, and maybe even play around with some plating and pairing. You have some confidence and comfort when it comes to handling, but you still find yourself trying to navigate those pesky problem shells. Crumbling hinges, cracked lids, chippy debris, and the odd stubborn shell that just doesn't want to let you in.

In this low-attendance class, we dive into your own experience with oyster handling to level up your shucking skills. You'll leave with a better basis for approaching new, difficult, and unfamiliar shells that you can build upon for years to come.

During class, you also get $1 oysters and 5% off of everything in the shop, from our best selling R. Murphy oyster knives, through our favorite accoutrements, like our house Mignonettes made by Fishtown Pickle Project, Poi Dog's Chili Peppah Water, and a selection of caviars.
