Fishtown Seafood has the best oyster selection in Philadelphia. From Atlantic Canada through New England, New Jersey and all the way down to Chesapeake Bay we offer top quality East Coast Oysters. Our rotating selection of oysters allows you to try something different each time you come in.

Our wild Coho salmon in troll caught is SE Alaska and has a natural vibrant hue. This lean salmon is served skin on and is a neighborhood favorite!

Our King Salmon is farm raised in freshwater canals and raceways from glacial runoff in New Zealand. This fattier cut is rich and delicious.

We could fill the entire shop with tinned fish but instead we choose to carry products that we feel good about. Through our experience working at and with non-profits we are able to extensively research species, fishing practices and cannery standards to bring you products that not only taste awesome, but are responsibly sourced.

Our scallops come from the Maine inshore State waters fishery. They are true dayboat scallops by law and they have no added moisture. Once landed they are Super Frozen to -76 degrees.

Our mussels are from the pristine waters of Mount Desert Island, Maine. The sustainable Dutch style farming that is used is an environmentally friendly process that yields plump and flavorful mussels.

Our littleneck clams are from Reval Island Virginia. Stop in to see if we are currently carrying middle neck or cherrystones.

Super Frozen is the secret to the freshest possible seafood. When frozen to -76 degrees Fahrenheit the cell structure remains relatively unchanged and the decomposition process completely stops. Also, this allows us to have tuna that is not treated with Carbon Monoxide gas.

At Fishtown Seafood, we avoid commonly used chemicals like Carbon Monoxide and Sodium Tripolyphosphate in our chilled and frozen seafood and aquaculture products.
